OUR TRANSFORMATIONS
This is what Lockett Warrior and DDPY classes has done for our
team members
Aaron for Lockett Warrior
In August of 2017 I was offered the chance to own my life. Since Kevin Lockett introduced me to the DDPY Fitness system my life has never been the same. Over the past year I have lost nearly 40lbs and no longer need to walk with a cane. This is only the beginning of what DDPY has allowed me to accomplish.
I met Kevin through Southern Oregon Goodwill. We were both employed as part of their GED Partnership with the local community college. We both started the DDPY program together and have maintained it for the past year. When I started I weighed about 275lbs had knees that could barely support my weight and needed to use a cane.
I believed that being overweight and in pain was my lot in life. I had played football in junior high and high school and the concussions and other injuries had made it difficult to find a workout that I could do. DDPY was the only workout that my back, knees, and neck would allow me to try without being in agony the next day. After starting the workouts, I began to have noticeable changes in my body. My limbs didn’t get numb as often. Then my back stopped hurting. After a few weeks I began to feel stronger and more capable.
Luckily for me Kevin is extraordinarily devoted to the DDPY fitness system. He introduced me to juicing and provided me with a living model of how I could adjust my eating habits. Through an improved diet and the DDPY classes I lost 40lbs and only weigh around 235.
I am a very happy and very blessed man. Over my life God has always managed to provide me with the people and moments that will make me a better person. Thank you, Kevin, and thank you Diamond Dallas Page for coming into my life when I needed you the most.
Sincerely,
Aaron Croxford.
Marcia for Lockett Warrior
My name is Marcia, I am a 65 year old overweight woman with high blood pressure, high cholesterol and type 2 diabetes. For years my doctors have been telling me to lose weight and exercise, but I could never seem to find the motivation to get moving. Then my sister dragged me to DDPY class at KCC. I must admit that at first i wasn't convinced this could be the program for me. After all it was an exercise class, but I kept going, mainly because i have paid for the class! Then one day, I discovered I really wanted to go to class, nobody was more surprised than me! Now i have bee doing the program for 3 months, I have lost 14 pounds, lost a combined 7 inches of my hips, waist and belly, the truly amazing news is that my A1C is not at 5.5 and my doctor has reduces my diabetes medication to once a day! I feel better, my flexibility has improves, my joints don't hurt, I have more energy and stamina than before, and my clothes are getting looser.
Kevin is an amazing instructor, he encourages you to work to your max but never at the expense of injury; he always shows you how to modify if you have joint or any other limitations. Some days I can push to my max, other days i want to stay in "safety zone", but as Kevin says, "make DDPY your own". So either is okay, but mostly I want to push myself to just to see what I can do.
The more I do the program, and see results, the more i want to continue and do more.
Not only Kevin is amazing, but his wife Romy is just as encouraging. The class dynamic is also great, we are a fun and supportive group.
the best exercise plan is the one you will do, and this one makes you want to keep doing it.
I am about to have a knee replacement, and I am confident that having done DDPY for the ls 3 months, that I am stronger and my recovery will do so much better because of it. We have already discussed how I can modify the moves and do the program in a chair. You just don't get hat level of attention and support from other fitness instructors.
I would encourage anyone to try DDPY. If I can do it, anyone can!
Fred for Lockett Warrior
The photo of me in my FedEx uniform is from 2014, the one with the grandson is from summer 2016 by Christmas, my weight was over 280 lbs when I partially tore my ACL and meniscus in my left knee. Since I was on light duty for 6 weeks, I did a extreme clean diet and actually dropped my weight down to the upper 250's, but then went back to eating the way I had before and was still a little l leary of working my knee to much. Over the next year, I got back up to 267 when I saw Kevin's transformation, knowing Kevin from working out with him years earlier I had a trust of him, so I contacted my friend about the DDPY workout program and started my journey.
On March 17th, I did my first weight and measurements, my weight was 267; today just past my 6 month mark my weight is 237 and I'm down 25.5 inches, but the best part is being able to go do the things I did when I was younger. I'll be 57 years old in three weeks, and this summer I climbed Harney Pike here in South Dakota ( I know your thinking South Dakota?), Harney Peak is the tallest peak East of the Rockies, the trail is 7 miles over 1100 foot elevation, and the oldest grandson and I did it in 3.5 hrs, I've had chronic lower back pain for years from working construction (20 years), and I am almost pain free, still get stiff but pain is very minimal, but the quality of life has gone up a lot, my job is less physically stressing on me and I look forward to doing the things I love to do that are somewhat physically demanding and excited about exploring the Black Hills of South Dakota for years to come 😎
If you are tired of being tired, give DDPY a try, if you want better quality of life give DDPY a try, you get all the tools to succeed, the only thing stopping you is, well is you. Have a awesome day.
Fred Dalton.
